The Trauma Healing Program (THP) is a ministry that assists the Church in dealing with the impacts of trauma, grief, and other wounds of the heart. THP offers support to individuals, churches, and organizations, providing them with the tools and resources needed for group healing. Introduced to the country by the American Bible Society in 2016, the Trauma Healing model has since been adapted for local use. Using wisdom from the Bible, best practices in mental health, and support from the community, individuals and churches are encouraged to actively participate in God’s healing process through His life-giving Word. As the program continues to be carried out in key areas across the Philippines, THP remains steadfast in its commitment to alleviate the suffering of those who are dealing with trauma and wounds of the heart, teaching them how to process their pain and how to become more resilient when trials come their way again.
