The Philippine Bible Society (PBS) cleaned up a portion of the Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach as a demonstration of their value of Creation Care.

PBS partnered with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – Manila Bay Coordinating Office for a Ministry Social Responsibility (MSR) event on January 18 which they combined in sharing God’s Word.

Volunteers from PBS and DENR worked together to collect trash along the shore, helping to preserve the beauty of the iconic location and promoting environmental stewardship.

After the clean-up, the team continued their mission by distributing free Bibles to people they met on the way. This act of kindness, in celebration of National Bible Month 2025, aimed to share a message of hope and inspiration with the community.

The event was a beautiful reminder that faith is not only about words, but also about action. Through small yet meaningful efforts, the event showed how caring for God’s creation and sharing His Word can work together to create impact.

PBS is grateful for the partnership with DENR and the opportunity to serve the community in such a meaningful way. As we continue to celebrate National Bible Month, we are reminded that God’s Word is a source of hope, and through acts of service, we can spread His love and care to those around us.
