MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

Leaders carry full and demanding schedules—balancing responsibilities, guiding teams, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Yet beyond being physically present and capable, leaders must also be spiritually prepared, with hearts aligned with the Lord.

‎From February 19–21, the Board of Trustees and Management Committee of the Philippine Bible Society, led by Chief Justice Reynato Puno (Ret.), President and Chairman, and Ms. Laura Valledo, General Secretary, have gathered in Batangas for a time of visioning and retreat.
These three days are devoted to prayerful reflection and consultation to determine priorities and organizational direction in alignment with the key areas for Bible ministry set by the United Bible Societies (UBS) under the Egmond Affirmation: translation, engagement, distribution, mission resilience, diaspora, creation care, and digital transformation.

‎As the leaders conclude their acitivities today, we invite you to lift them up in prayer—that they may be granted wisdom and discernment to faithfully follow God’s will. May the time spent in seeking the Lord strengthen the Philippine Bible Society as it continues to serve the churches, partners, and its mission of making the Bible known to the Filipino people.
