MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

NBM 2026: Pasig City Parenting Conference “Ang Salita ng Diyos ay buhay at may kapangyarihang magbago ng buhay—lalo na sa loob ng pamilya. Napakahalaga ng Salita ng Diyos sapagkat dito natin nakikita ang disenyo at plano ng Diyos para sa isang masayang pamilya.”

These were the words of Pastor Arnel Horn, Chairman of the City of Pasig Ministers Alliance, Inc. Pastor Horn was one of the attendees of the Pasig City Parenting Conference held last January 26, 2026 at Rizal High School in Pasig.

The conference, which was organized in celebration of National Bible Day, aimed to give a lecture about strengthening family relationships by discussing the importance of love, forgiveness, open communication, and faith as foundations of a healthy and happy family. Philippine Bible Society General Secretary Ms. Laura Valledo, Deputy General Secretary for Ministry Operations Ptr. Marfeal Santiago, and other staff attended the conference.

The conference was also attended by guest speakers, Atty. Winnie and Ms. Maloi Salumbides. Several officials from Pasig LGU, pastors, church workers, etc., were also present.

After the opening messages, Ms. Laura delivered a message of support for the family conference. Atty. Winnie and Ms. Maloi Salumbides, leaders from the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches Family Commission, spoke about how God’s Word strengthens family relationships, while other speakers shared personal testimonies on how God’s Word has shaped their lives. Some Pasig officials also gave musical performances, bringing warmth and excitement to the event.
