Teachers usually guide students through academic subjects, but apart from expecting them to learn math or reading, how can the Bible shape their hearts, character, and future?
Ms. Teresa Tabia, Master Teacher 1 at Imelda Elementary School in Malabon, shared:
Ms. Maida E. Esleta, Teacher 3, also expressed her hopes:
A Bible Appreciation Activity was held at Imelda Elementary School on January 27, 2026, in partnership with Jesus Is Lord Church NBBS/NBBN Kaunlaran (North Bay Boulevard South/North) and Christ Beloved Mission Church Oncalvary, distributing copies of the Bible to over 400 students.
Through the same partnership, another school in Malabon (Longos Elementary School) was visited to engage students in interactive games, share the gospel, and distribute copies of the New Testament.
We pray that the teachers’ hopes for their students will not remain just a wish, but that they will come to life as students read, understand, are transformed by, and live out God’s Word.
