The Philippine Bible Society conducted two Bible Relevance in Modern Times Seminars (BRIMS) last January to help more Filipinos engage with God’s Word more deeply.
On January 12, a BRIMS session was held by Pastor Mel Cartera in Pangasinan, where he spoke about how we should read and understand the prophetic books in the Bible. He also emphasized the significance of the Old Testament prophets as covenant enforcers during their time.
Two weeks after that, on January 26, Pastor Noli Mendoza held a BRIMS session at the Philippine Bible Society Ministry Center, where he spoke about how the Word of God should be carefully read, understood, and obeyed in order to bring about lasting and impactful change.
The National Bible Month may have already ended, but the Bible remains a vital part of our lives. Together, let’s continue to seek after God and dive deep into his Word!
The next Bible Relevance in Modern Times Seminar will be held this February 23, 2026 at the 3rd Floor PBS Ministry Center.
