BIR Flag-raising

National Bible Month 2026

Today, the Philippine Bible Society joined the flag-raising ceremony of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Region No. 6 – Manila Office. The ceremony

was held at the Main Hall of the Philippine Bible Society Tower Hotel and Events Place.

General Secretary Ms. Laura Valledo, Deputy General Secretary for Ministry Operations Ptr. Marfeal Santiago, and Philippine Bible Society Tower Operations

Manager Ms. Veronica Barrion were present. Ms. Laura delivered a short message about the National Bible Month, and Ptr. Marfeal read Romans 13:5-7 in the Ang

Bible: Pinoy Version. Officials from the BIR office also prayed and then pledged to serve the country faithfully and selflessly, after which they were given copies of

the New Testament in Tagalog.
