MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

On January 20, 2025, members of the Philippine Bible Society staff conducted a Bible Appreciation Activity at Lakan Dula High School in Tondo.

Groups of Grade 9 and Grade 10 students sat under the school’s covered court, where they learned about the yearly celebration of the National Bible Month and the importance of God’s Word in their lives. The students received copies of the Magandang Balita Biblia New Testament and watched an episode of the Mga Kuwento nina Bib at Lia animated Bible stories series.

Ms. Vicky Franco, the Bible Engagement and Advocacy Department Manager of the Philippine Bible Society, shared life advice to the students based on Joshua chapter 1 verse 8:

“Kung ang Bible ay binabasa ninyo, [kung] mine-meditate ninyo yan sa inyong mga buhay, ang pangako ng Panginoon, magiging successful kayo in life.”

Let’s pray for the upcoming Bible Appreciation Activities set for this month, and ask that the Lord bless the Filipino youth with more wisdom and truth from his Word!
