MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

Last month, on August 24, 2026, Prof. Noli Mendoza conducted a Bible Relevance in Modern Society (BRIMS) seminar on the book of Lamentations. Prof. Noli explained how the book addresses one of the darkest moments in Israel’s history not by ignoring what happened, but by acknowledging it and bringing it to God in lament. He also spoke about how a similar approach can help us face our own periods of tragedy and grief.

“Hindi lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay natin madali nating tanggapin,” said Prof. Noli. “Ang aklat ng Lamentations ay isang gabay. Paano natin haharapin ang mga moments of tragedy, and destruction, and pain, and difficulties sa buhay natin?”
