Yesterday, almost a hundred pastors and church leaders from different Christian backgrounds gathered for a fellowship that opened space for conversations that may not often happen.
Through group discussions, the participants reflected on practices they appreciate from other Christian traditions, ways their churches can engage and collaborate, and areas where their evangelism and discipleship efforts may overlap. More importantly, they explored how these shared areas can become opportunities for a “convergence of mission”—working together to serve those who are often underserved in our communities.
As part of the fellowship, the pastors also received resources to use and share in their churches and ministries: a copy of Nine Marks of a Healthy Church from Crossway, a box of The Generics Pharmacy (TGP) Edition New Testament, and a box of Karunungan for Life Booklets.
Following the first Together in His Word fellowship held in April 2026, the Philippine Bible Society, as an interconfessional organization, looks forward to more gatherings like this that strengthen relationships among church leaders and encourage greater collaboration in serving communities through God’s Word.
