MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

Many of us find it comforting to focus on the latter part of Job’s story: After going through immense loss and grief, God restored everything he once had. While this unexpected blessing highlights God’s abundant provision and grace, there is still much to learn from the whole book of Job.

On July 20, 2026, Prof. Noli Mendoza conducted the final Bible Relevance in Modern Society (BRIMS) seminar in the Job series. Tracing the events from the beginning of the book to its last chapter, Prof. Noli spoke of how the search for an explanation of Job’s sufferings culminated in his life-changing encounter with God.

“Instead of answering the question, ‘Why did this happen? Bakit nangyari ‘to?’ Ngayon, si Job ay humaharap sa isang [bagong] tanong,” said Prof. Noli. “‘How should one live after encountering God?’”
