Praise the Lord!
From May 4 to 8, several participants will be gathering at Puerto Princesa, Palawan to take part in the Cuyonon Old Testament Reviewers’ Workshop. This workshop aims to equip them with the skills and knowledge they’ll need to evaluate and help improve on the planned Cuyonon translation.
Philippine Bible Society (PBS) General Secretary Laura Valledo and other members of the management committee were present to welcome the participants during the first day. The attendees, who are all native Cuyonon speakers, will also be listening to lectures and participating in workshops facilitated by PBS Translation Consultants Dr. Anicia Del Corro, Dr. Edgar Ebojo, Dr. Rhoneil Arevalo, as well as PBS Translation Officers Prof. Alvin Bailon and Mr. Jojo Mahinan.
Let’s continue to pray for the ongoing workshop, and ask God to bless this initiative to make his Word more accessible to Palaweños!
