MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

The Philippine Bible Society continues to carry out its mission to make the Bible known to every Filipino. But this important work cannot be done without the sincere prayers and support of its ministry partners.

On February 26, members of the Philippine Bible Society staff, led by General Secretary Ms. Laura Valledo, paid a courtesy visit to the Land Bank of the Philippines, where they received the bank’s donation to the Bible Society. Landbank representatives Mr. Emmanuel Hio, Jr., First Vice President of the Human Resource Management Group, Ms. Mira Leah Patio, Vice President of the Employee Relations Department, and Mr. Joel Pros, Acting Unit Head of the Employee Engagement Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Unit were present for the turnover.

Beyond a simple transfer of funds, this meeting is a reminder of the Philippine Bible Society’s responsibility as a steward and of the importance of its mission. May God continue to raise people who will carry out and support the task of making the Bible known!
