MAKING THE BIBLE KNOWN

Continuing efforts to strengthen partnerships in Bible ministry, Ms. Laura Valledo, General Secretary of the Philippine Bible Society, together with Ptr. Marfeal Santiago, Deputy General Secretary for Ministry Operations, and selected members of the Philippine Bible Society Management Committee, paid courtesy visits to key partners on January 30, 2026.

The first visit was to Ptr. Roger Caderma, President of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which oversees 11 countries in the region, including the Philippines. Held at the Southern Asia-Pacific Division office, the meeting focused on continuing collaboration and addressing the Scripture needs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Philippines.

Later that day, the delegation visited the Philippine Publishing House, where they were warmly welcomed by Ptr. Leonardo Heyasa, President, and Ms. Janet Toledo, Vice President for Publishing. Discussions explored possible collaborations in printing and Scripture materials production, followed by a tour of the printing facilities led by Ms. Toledo.

Through these visits, both the Philippine Bible Society and its partners affirmed their dedication to working together in ensuring the production and distribution of Scripture resources that serve the Church and its communities.
