Word Riders Return to Bataan

The Word Riders Philippines composed of big bikers, volunteers and staff from Philippine Bible Society returned to Bataan for the second part of the distribution of the Bibles to Grade 8 students. On December 4, the WRP team visited EC Bernabe National High School in Bagac and Nagbalayong National High School in Morong. Over 365 students and teachers received their own copies of the May They Be One Bible aside from the Scripture materials that the school received for their libraries.
The students and teachers were all delighted to witness the Riders on their Big Bikes and were even thrilled to know that they drove from Manila to Bataan to bring the Bibles to them. One teacher even said that the Bible distribution program is indeed unique and inspiring.
After every school destination, the Riders got a few minutes of rest from the long drive, then carried on and spent some time with the students. They gave the students pointers on “How to Use the Bible” and Share the Importance of Reading God’s Word.”
“We are very blessed that they held this Bible distribution to our division. We know that the Bibles that our students received will greatly impact their lives”, Ms. Jackie Tuazon from Division of Bataan shared. Another teacher, Ms. Shela Ocampo of EC Bernabe National High School said that they were grateful because TWRP did not only give out the Bibles but they also taught the students the basics on how to use the Bible. Meanwhile, an “Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao” (Education on Personhood) Teacher from Nagbalayong National High School who uses Bible stories and verses in her lessons shared that the Bibles can now guide the students during their discussions.
The distribution event that was tagged as “Bataan Loop Bible Ride” is a continuation of the first ride that took place last October 1 at Orani National High School and Limay National High School. Overall, 985 Grade 8 students from Bataan got their own copies of the Bible and 4 schools received additional books and Scripture materials for their libraries.
The Word Riders Philippines aims to pursue the project in the years to come to reach more Grade 8 students around the country. If you are interested to support and be part of this Bible Distribution program, check out the Word Riders page on Facebook:

I am a Bible Ambassador because I believe that the Bible can help people a lot. And knowing the Bible, people come in touch with the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's an honor and a privilege for me to support the Philippine Bible Society - to reach out to the unreachable people by giving Bibles not only in the Philippines but the whole world.

“It is a blessing to be able to support our local churches in need of Bibles and Bible study programs. It is our hope that they not only grow in terms of membership but also have the heart to extend spiritual help to others, just like how they have received help.”

“We are thankful since each individual now has a Bible. Our members will no longer have a hard time reading. Thank you also for the discipleship materials for these will help all in getting to know Jesus and to know how to be a better Christian.”

It has well-equipped leaders who facilitate trainings and workshops.

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”

I think this is very helpful to every readers. The word of the Lord are the food of our soul which we always need every minute of our life. I dont often read the Bible but everytime i open it, God was always like in front of me and speaking as what is something i'm just needing to hear. He speaks to me and i can feel it. A million thanks to You my Lord.
