‘WHY FOCUS ON CHILDREN?’

Over 127 Sunday school teachers and church workers attended the  ‘Why Focus on Children?’ seminar conducted by the Philippine Bible Society.  The seminar’s aim is to help teachers develop relevant Sunday school lesson plans, using a variety of interactive and innovative scripture materials.
Participants were delighted to know that there are a variety of  locally-produced materials they can use to enhance their students’ Sunday school experience and were eager to learn new ways of sharing the Word of God.  A lively group discussion followed the lecture, which also became a time of fellowship and sharing. The teachers eagerly took home not just new knowledge and warm fellowship but also sets of Coloring Books  and  a copy of the latest PBS publication for children, ‘Panalangin Mula Sa Mga Awit.’
