The Bible for Filipino Children

Children’s Bible sa Wikang Filipino

It’s never too early to teach children God’s Word. And what better way to get them into reading the Bible than by giving them a copy of the new Children’s Bible sa Wikang Filipino?

But, with all the existing Children’s Bible in the market, what makes the Children’s Bible sa Wikang Filipino unique?

All the books of the Bible are represented in this Children’s Bible. The purpose is to prepare the children for greater appreciation of the biblical narratives when they read it as adults.

The stories were carefully chosen such that some violent stories were deliberately excluded for psychological reasons and yet the original purpose of the Bible was maintained. This Children’s Bible focuses on proclaiming God’s message of love for human beings. This message is emphasized in the stories of creation, the fall of man, redemption through Christ and the final destiny of those who believe God.

The book of Proverbs was exceptionally arranged in a way that a child can practically get bits of wisdom on specific topics like the importance of being wise, how to be wise, advice on family living, and advice on friendships and relationships, among others.

The four Gospels are uniquely presented as one book narrating the life and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was done so that the child will gain greater understanding of the various accounts on the life of Jesus as separately portrayed by the four Gospel writers.

Vocabularies for the Epistles, which admittedly are difficult to explain to kids because they contain many abstract concepts, were not only simplified but also made more meaningful. Emphasis was given on practical applications that children can do and obey.

The artworks are very faithful to the original biblical culture, and yet are given peculiar Filipino touch so that children could easily identify with the characters portrayed.

I needed to draft you this very little observation so as to give thanks the moment again for those marvelous tactics you have provided here. It is simply strangely generous with you in giving publicly what exactly most people would have offered for an ebook to help make some dough for their own end, notably given that you might well have tried it if you considered necessary. Those creative ideas also served like the fantastic way to recognize that many people have similar dream similar to mine to see a lot more pertaining to this problem. I am sure there are numerous more pleasurable periods up front for many who take a look at your blog.

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”
