Pinoy Version Old Testament Translation Workshop

The Philippine Bible Society (PBS) greeted the month of December with an exciting activity in the field of Bible translation – the Pinoy Version Old Testament Translation Workshop (Part 2).

We opened the 3F Worship Hall of the PBS Ministry Center today to welcome 17 enthusiastic and determined translation workshop attendees. 

The participants gained new knowledge and insights about what it means to translate God’s Word faithfully and to be given the responsibilities of a Bible translator.

Dr. Edgar Ebojo (UBS Global Translation Advisor) and Dr. Anicia del Corro (PBS Translation Consultant) were present to give informative talks related to the field of Bible translation.

It ended with a closing prayer led by Dr. Ebojo:
“Lord, thank You for the fellowship we have with each other because of You. Thank You for making us a part of this initiative to clearly communicate your Word…”
