PBS Names 2015 Employee, Supervisor of the Year

An executive assistant and a regional manager were recently named the 2015 Employee of the Year and Supervisor of the Year, respectively.
Following a rigorous process of nomination, selection, and evaluation, Dawn Moran, Executive Assistant to the General Secretary was named 2015 Employee of the Year. She bested other top nominees Lolita Aguilar and translator Ma. Cecilia Rubio.
Meanwhile, Regional Manager for Northern Luzon Esmeralda Dizon edged MIS Supervisor Michael Barrion and BH Manager Sharon Napalang for the coveted SOY plum.
An ecstatic Moran expressed her gratitude for the recognition and shared valuable lessons she has learned in her last four years as Executive Assistant to General Secretary Dr. Nora Lucero.
For her part, Dizon was surprised when HRD Supervisor Marivic Velasco, who was hosting the short awarding ceremony, pronounced her as the winner.
The annual EOY and SOY Awards began in 2014, where Messenger Rod Parambita and Partner Relations Supervisor Pearl Cabrera received the awards, which are part of PBS staff development programs for staff members who displayed excellence in their service, reflective of the Bible Society’s mission, vision, and core values.
