PBS-LB celebrates Decade of God’s goodness

The Philippine Bible Society rejoices over the Lord’s faithfulness in celebrating the 10 years of the Lawang Bato (LB) Printing Facility in Valenzuela City last April 28.
The anniversary event was participated in by PBS managers, supervisors, LB-PBS staff, and workers from the said production plant. The activity which started 8:30 in the morning and culminated through a lunch fellowship also had a program where the gathering thanked the Lord through songs, opening prayer was said by Associate General Secretary Mrs. Perry Cartera, greetings were extended by General Secretary Dr. Nora Lucero who also congratulated the LB workforce for their hard work and thanked God for his goodness.
Publishing Manager Dr. Edgar Ebojo highlighted the Scripture text from chapter 4 of the book of Ephesians where he emphasized maintaining unity and glorifying God in the workplace, and cited Tagalog key phrases in his message; “Kapit-Kamay” and “Lugar Mo, Altar Mo” (‘Hands held Together’ and ‘Your Place, Your Altar’, when translated). Dr. Ebojo further stressed to the LB workforce that as workers, everything they do is significant, and a part of transformation of every person who will be receiving a copy of God’s word.
Translation Consultant Dr. Annie Del Corro said the thanksgiving prayer, while Production Manager Mrs. Laura Valledo also thanked the PBS Board of Trustees and Management, invited guests and visitors, Lawang Bato PBS staff and production workers, as well as the partners, suppliers and sponsors during the said event.
Kudos to the PBS Lawang Bato Printing Facility leaders, staff, and production workers.
Praise the Lord for 10 Years full of blessings, and here’s to more years full of hope!

I am a Bible Ambassador because I believe that the Bible can help people a lot. And knowing the Bible, people come in touch with the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's an honor and a privilege for me to support the Philippine Bible Society - to reach out to the unreachable people by giving Bibles not only in the Philippines but the whole world.

“It is a blessing to be able to support our local churches in need of Bibles and Bible study programs. It is our hope that they not only grow in terms of membership but also have the heart to extend spiritual help to others, just like how they have received help.”

“We are thankful since each individual now has a Bible. Our members will no longer have a hard time reading. Thank you also for the discipleship materials for these will help all in getting to know Jesus and to know how to be a better Christian.”

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”

I think this is very helpful to every readers. The word of the Lord are the food of our soul which we always need every minute of our life. I dont often read the Bible but everytime i open it, God was always like in front of me and speaking as what is something i'm just needing to hear. He speaks to me and i can feel it. A million thanks to You my Lord.
