PBS-LB celebrates Decade of God’s goodness
The Philippine Bible Society rejoices over the Lord’s faithfulness in celebrating the 10 years of the Lawang Bato (LB) Printing Facility in Valenzuela City last April 28.
The anniversary event was participated in by PBS managers, supervisors, LB-PBS staff, and workers from the said production plant. The activity which started 8:30 in the morning and culminated through a lunch fellowship also had a program where the gathering thanked the Lord through songs, opening prayer was said by Associate General Secretary Mrs. Perry Cartera, greetings were extended by General Secretary Dr. Nora Lucero who also congratulated the LB workforce for their hard work and thanked God for his goodness.
Publishing Manager Dr. Edgar Ebojo highlighted the Scripture text from chapter 4 of the book of Ephesians where he emphasized maintaining unity and glorifying God in the workplace, and cited Tagalog key phrases in his message; “Kapit-Kamay” and “Lugar Mo, Altar Mo” (‘Hands held Together’ and ‘Your Place, Your Altar’, when translated). Dr. Ebojo further stressed to the LB workforce that as workers, everything they do is significant, and a part of transformation of every person who will be receiving a copy of God’s word.
Translation Consultant Dr. Annie Del Corro said the thanksgiving prayer, while Production Manager Mrs. Laura Valledo also thanked the PBS Board of Trustees and Management, invited guests and visitors, Lawang Bato PBS staff and production workers, as well as the partners, suppliers and sponsors during the said event.
Kudos to the PBS Lawang Bato Printing Facility leaders, staff, and production workers.
