PBS Honors Its Employees
The Human Resource Development Department of PBS recently honored some of its employees. During the weekly Staff Fellowship last April 23, 2014, 48 staff received Punctual Attendance awards and 21 received Perfect Attendance awards for the whole year of 2013. Of these, three (3) staff received the highest number of months having Perfect Attendance. Perfect Attendance is defined as coming to work 10 minutes before one’s regular and official work schedule with no absence, no leave and no under-time. Punctual Attendance is defined as reporting to work on or before the official time with excused leaves of at least half-day.
PBS also gave a long-service award to Ms. Helen Saldaṅa, Resource Development Officer, who has been serving for 10 years now, and its very first Employee of the Year Award to a long-time employee, Mr. Rodrigo Parambita. Rod has been with the Bible Society for 27 years as Collector in the Finance Department. He has been a consistent perfect attendance awardee and has been frequent top scorer in the Bible Quizzes for the staff. He does his job well and is well-liked by his co-workers. Praise God for good and faithful servants in the Lord’s Ministry.
