During its General Assembly last July 26, the Assumption College Parents Council (ACPC) decided to support the Handwritten Unity Bible (HUB) under the May They Be One Bible Campaign. ACPC, in coordination with the Philippine Bible Society (PBS), is scheduled to conduct HUB writing events in later this year.
PBS Resource Development Supervisor Pearl Cabrera confirmed the news of this new partnership with ACPC following her presentation of the HUB and the PBS ministry at Assumption College at San Lorenzo Village, Makati City.
“After our initial meeting with the ACPC officers, particularly ACPC President Stanley Roque and Mrs. Purie Liwanag, who invited PBS to their general assembly, they agreed to be modern-day scribes,” Cabrera said. She added that the HUB writing event is tentatively scheduled in December.
“We pray that this partnership will continue to flourish,” Mrs. Cabrera ended.
