Philippine Bible Society Resource Development Supervisor Pearl Grace Cabrera said that PBS member Rev. Elizabeth Malabed brought the HUB first in Dubai, United Arab before then to Qatar last June 4.
Cabrera shared that Pastora Beth, who is also an active participant in the Inter-Church Consultative and Advisory Group (ICCAG), presented to her the idea of bringing the HUB to the said countries.
She told me then that she was attending a seminar in Dubai. She was also hoping to go to Qatar as she wanted the Filipino communities there to also experience the project. Cabrera said, adding that a little over a hundred verses were written during the two writing events.
Meanwhile, back in the Philippines, Cabrera said that they also partnered with the Living Light Community Group of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to bring the HUB to ADB. About 400 verses from the Book of Psalms were written during the writing events last May 30 and June 27.

A HUB writing event was also organized with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines – Community Church of Las Piñas last June 28. Modern-day scribes were able to transfer nearly 80 verses from Psalms 69 and 73 during the one-day session.
These recent HUB writing events will make available more than 750 Bibles under the May They Be One (MTBO) Bible Campaign, which aims to distribute 5 million Bibles to poor Filipino families.
Watch out for the following HUB sessions coming to the following areas:
July 19, 2014 at the Tiara Oriental Hotel, Makati City
July 26, 2014 in Barangay Holy Spirit, Novaliches, Quezon City
Aug 7, 2014 at the Dominican School, Manila

I am a Bible Ambassador because I believe that the Bible can help people a lot. And knowing the Bible, people come in touch with the Lord Jesus Christ.

“It is a blessing to be able to support our local churches in need of Bibles and Bible study programs. It is our hope that they not only grow in terms of membership but also have the heart to extend spiritual help to others, just like how they have received help.”

“We are thankful since each individual now has a Bible. Our members will no longer have a hard time reading. Thank you also for the discipleship materials for these will help all in getting to know Jesus and to know how to be a better Christian.”

“Philippine Bible Society organizes trainings that really respond to the needs of people who are suffering.
It has well-equipped leaders who facilitate trainings and workshops.

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”

I think this is very helpful to every readers. The word of the Lord are the food of our soul which we always need every minute of our life. I dont often read the Bible but everytime i open it, God was always like in front of me and speaking as what is something i'm just needing to hear. He speaks to me and i can feel it. A million thanks to You my Lord.
