Over 1,300 Attend BRIMS in February
PBS Regional Manager of North and South Luzon, Esmie Dizon, shared the topic “Why Focus on Children” to church leaders and teachers from Guihulngan, Negros Oriental.
Last February, 1,337 individuals from Antipolo City, Rizal, the provinces of Bataan, Laguna, Bulacan, Negros Oriental, Tuguegarao, and Cagayan participated in the Philippine Bible Society‘s (PBS) Bible Relevance in Modern Times Seminar (BRIMS). In these seminars, church leaders register and get the chance to be oriented with the PBS ministry, learn interesting and inspirational topics, get free copies of NT Bibles, buy quality and affordable PBS products on display, and become PBS members.
Keynote Speaker, Ptr. Mel Cartera, led this group from Negros Oriental on the topic “Hermeneutics”.
The BRIMS continues to equip leaders and workers from both Evangelical and Catholic churches through the presentation of various Bible topics, including different themes on Bible Translation, Church ministry, useful materials, among others. The goal of these training seminars is to help churches and leaders meet the needs and challenges of ministering to of today’s generation by adapting to the changing world and applying the unchanging Word of God.
