Novaliches Prelate Leads Clergy in HUB

hub clergy2The Most Rev. Antonio Tobias, D.D., Bishop of Novaliches led the diocesan clergy in participating in the historic Handwritten Unity Bible (HUB) last October 9, 2014.
According to Partnership and Fundraising Supervisor Pearl Grace Cabrera, Bishop Tobias and around 30 other priests from the diocese, including Biblical Apostolate Director Fr. Hernan Batomalaque, became modern-day scribes during the 30-minute HUB writing session.
“It was truly a blessing because aside from the writing session, we also got invited to bring the HUB to other parishes in the diocese. Fr. Hernan also asked us to hold a writing session with diocesan lay leaders during their meeting on October 11. We were also invited to the 2nd Diocesan Bible Congress on October 25 to promote the HUB and the Roving Bible Museum (RBM),” Cabrera shared.
She furthered that apart from the having 34 lay leaders participate in the October 11 writing session, they were also blessed to have been able to have a Bible display, promote the RBM, and engage the lay leaders in fellowship.
“This resulted in bringing the HUB in the School of St. Anthony of Novaliches, Holy Spirit School, Mater Carmeli School, and the Roman Catholic Bishops of Novaliches-Education System (RCBN-ES),” Cabrera reported.
Meanwhile, 200 copies of the New Testament were distributed during the 2nd anniversary celebration of the Sto. Niño de Congresso Parish’s Prayer Ministry last October 12. Aside from proclaiming God’s Word and how it changed their lives, participants to the celebration also showcased their copies of the May They Be One (MTBO) Bible during the Bible enthronement.
Cabrera said that the next HUB writing event will be in the city of Las Piñas, as part of the 37th Anniversary celebration of the United Church of Christ-Community Church of Las Piñas on October 26, 2014.

I am a Bible Ambassador because I believe that the Bible can help people a lot. And knowing the Bible, people come in touch with the Lord Jesus Christ.

“It is a blessing to be able to support our local churches in need of Bibles and Bible study programs. It is our hope that they not only grow in terms of membership but also have the heart to extend spiritual help to others, just like how they have received help.”

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”

I think this is very helpful to every readers. The word of the Lord are the food of our soul which we always need every minute of our life. I dont often read the Bible but everytime i open it, God was always like in front of me and speaking as what is something i'm just needing to hear. He speaks to me and i can feel it. A million thanks to You my Lord.
