| January 7 | NBW Reflections started airing over the FEBC Network particularly in the Manila stations 702 DZAS and 98.7 DZFE. Regional stations followed suit during the week upon receipt of the CDs. |
| January 12 | NBW press conference featured in ABS-CBN News Update Reflection CD aired over DZFM |
| January 17 | PBS Gen. Sec. Nora Lucero was interviewed by CMMA award-winning station Moms Radio (under the SBN Network )with stations in Calamba, Tarlac, Naga, Cebu, Bacolod, Davao and Cagayan de Oro. She was featured in two full episodes of Moms Choice aired on January 26 and on February 2. She also recorded running segments or drop-ins that were aired several times a day during the Bible Week. SBN also recorded and played their version of the Reflections CD with PBS providing the script. Reflections CD, Announcement on Board (AOB) and press releases started airing in DWBL 1242- AM, DWSS 1494-AM and Mellow 94.7 FM |
| January 19 | PBS through the PRO Hazel Alviz promoted the NBW celebration inASK Ang Say ng Kabataan, a weekly youth-oriented program hosted by Sec. Ric Saludo and Comm. Princess Abante. This was aired on Saturday, 10 pm on Channel 4 with a replay on Sunday, 2pm. |
| January 20 | Fr. Oscar Alunday, Executive Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for the Biblical Apostolate (ECBA) of the CBCP and PBS-PRO Hazel Alviz promoted the NBW celebration in the programAng Tinig ng Pastol (10 am on 846 Radio Veritas) hosted by Msgr. Pepe Quitorio and Sr. Pinky Barrientos. |
| January 21 | Flag raising ceremonies at Office of the President in Malacanang Palace and at the Manila Police District were covered by GMA7news crew and were featured in Balitanghali, QTV 11. Unang Hirit of GMA 7 featured event updates on the NBW celebration and even had Bible Trivia on their program the whole week. Bible Society Vice President Bishop Arturo Bastes was interview by Fr. Francis Lucas in CMN Veritas about the Catholic churches participation in the NBW celebration Pinoy Espesyal on 702 DZAS (11 am) interviewed PRO Hazel Alviz regarding NBW activities. Reflections CD started airing in various KBP accredited stations including, DZRB, DZXL, DZRH, etc. |
| January 22 | PBS President and Chairman Bishop Cesar Punzalan was interviewed in CMN Veritas by Fr. Francis Lucas about the Bible and society. Bible Society consultant Dr. Medarlo Rivera was interviewed in Oras na Pilipinas, 702 DZAS (8am). He gave an overview on how the National Bible Week celebration started as well as outlined this years activities. |
| January 23 | PBS Gen. Sec. Nora Lucero was interviewed live by Mike Enriquez (DZBB-GMA) during the nationwide broadcast of Saksi sa Dobol B. The interview lasted for 25 minutes (7:15-7:40am) with Mr. Enriquez quoting Bible verses. Fr. Oscar Alunday of ECBA was interviewed in Oras na Pilipinas(DZAS) about Pasasalamat, the fundraising concert for men and women in uniform. Dr. Medarlo Rivera was interviewed in Pinoy Espesyal (DZAS). He talked about why the country should celebrate and honor Gods Word. He also explained the rationale for the Pasasalamat concert. |
| January 25 | Bishop Cesar Punzalan was interviewed in Oras na Pilipinas, DZAS (8am) about the Bible, national transformation and reconciliation. PBS Translation Consultant Bishop Daniel Arichea and PRO Hazel Alviz were interviewed by the Holy Rosary Crusade in their radio program Pamilya Muna (Veritas 846- 10:30-12nn). Bishop Arichea tackled questions about the Bible and family, while Ms. Alviz talked about NBW history and activities. The program was hosted by Bro. Bernard Canaberal Jovie Baretto and Rose Marie Barin. Dr. Annie Del Corro, PBS consultant, was interviewed on Pinoy Espesyal, DZAS on the topic: Why are there so many Bible translations? |
| January 26 | Gen. Fernando Mesa of the AFP NCR Command was interviewed in the program Contemporary Issues over 702 DZAS (7-8am). He talked about what the Bible says about peace as well as the campaign to distribute Bibles to the military. Airing of Moms Choice interview with Mrs. Nora Lucero over the SBN Network. |
