Members Attend BRIMS and Visit the Bible Museum

Talk about shooting two birds with one stone! For the second time, PBS opened the Bible Relevance in Modern Times Seminar to members. Amid the bad weather forecast, sixty-one members flocked to the Philippine Bible Society ministry facility last June 10, 2010. Our in-house Translation Consultant Dr. Daniel Arichea talked about Biblical Interpretation and Translation. Also, TOPIC National Coordinator, Dr. Philip Flores discussed Wellness Through Solitude. The topics reinforced the need for the Bible’s influence in our daily lives especially in this busy and chaotic world. Afterwards, many BRIMS delegates took the opportunity to visit the Bible Museum. Through a guided tour, forty PBS members skimmed through the significant places in time that greatly influenced how the Bible came to us. The Bible Museum was jam-packed with eager and friendly faces who endured the limited space just to listen to the makings of the Bible from the time of Abraham to the present.
For those who are interested to either be part of the Bible Relevance in Modern Times Seminar or visit our Bible Museum, feel free to call us!
