How will you be spending your Holy Week?

April 13, 2019

We would like to encourage you to make time for the Lord. In fact, it would be best if you make Him your top priority. God made saving you from your sins His top priority two thousand plus years ago when He died on the cross. He bore the weight of sin and all that pain and suffering, and He rose again on the third day to give us eternal life. Salvation is such an incredible gift that cannot be fully described in words.

Let this issue of our newsletter serve as a reflection/activity guide for you during Holy Week. You can even print out this activity checklist to guide you and help you focus on your Bible reading throughout the week.

Am I growing closer in intimacy with the Lord?

Take note
List three blessings in my life that I thank God for.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for dying for me. You rose again to life on the third day and I will forever celebrate that victory.

John 13:1-17 Good News Translation
John 13:34 Good News Translation

Psalm 22 Good News Translation
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 Good News Translation

What action steps will I take to further develop my faith journey with the Lord?

Acts 10:34-43 Good News Translation

We are praying for you and your Bible reading journey this Holy Week. May your time with the Lord be as sweet and meaningful as it can be. God bless you always!

I am a Bible Ambassador because I believe that the Bible can help people a lot. And knowing the Bible, people come in touch with the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's an honor and a privilege for me to support the Philippine Bible Society - to reach out to the unreachable people by giving Bibles not only in the Philippines but the whole world.

“It is a blessing to be able to support our local churches in need of Bibles and Bible study programs. It is our hope that they not only grow in terms of membership but also have the heart to extend spiritual help to others, just like how they have received help.”

“I praise and thank our Almighty God that, through PBS, I now own a Poimen version of MBB (Magandang Balita Biblia) in the national language of the Philippines – Tagalog.
Knowing Matthew 10:32-33, I read and study the Bible so that I will not be dismayed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes. Life is too short compared with the promise of eternal life in God’s Kingdom.”

I think this is very helpful to every readers. The word of the Lord are the food of our soul which we always need every minute of our life. I dont often read the Bible but everytime i open it, God was always like in front of me and speaking as what is something i'm just needing to hear. He speaks to me and i can feel it. A million thanks to You my Lord.
