HANDWRITTEN UNITY BIBLE ON THE ROVE

The month of June is a hectic season for the Handwritten Unity Bible (HUB) which went on a rove to bring the historic project to various churches and organizations, and allow their members to become modern day scribes. The project is a fundraising activity of the May They Be One Bible Campaign which aims to distribute 5 million Bibles to 5 million poor Filipino families.
On June 1, back-to-back writing sessions were conducted at the Far East Broadcasting Company Philippines’ 65th Anniversary and Kamuning Bible Christian Fellowship’s (KBCF) Missions Forum. Director and Actor, Mr. Cesar Montano, ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Got Talent Season 1 contestant, Kedebon Colim, and other performers during FEBC’s Anniversary were among those who took part in this historical writing of the Bible by hand.  Meanwhile, Dr. Nora G. Lucero presented the Bible ministry at the KBCF Missions Forum prior to the writing session of the members.
Meanwhile, the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship (FGBF) paired off their Father’s Day celebration with a Handwriting event last June 16 at the Christian City Academy, Quezon City.  Mr. Robert Lee, FGBF International president warmly thanked the 137 members and visitors who participated and wrote 244 verses.  Capping the month was a writing event in Dasmariñas, Cavite during the 30th Foundation Day of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary on June 26 which was participated in by seminarians and staff of the said school.
