GS attends IEMELIF consecration

PBS General Secretary Dr. Nora G. Lucero witnessed the consecration of Bishop Noel M. Abiog as Bishop of the Iglesia Evangelica Metodista En Las Islas Filipinas (IEMELIF) last March 12 at Beulah Land IEMELIF Center, Novaliches, Quezon City. Bishop Abiog was elected last February 25 as the General Superintendent, succeeding Bishop Nathanael Lazaro (former PBS Board of Trustee), who will lead the IEMELIF church towards the next quadrennium, 2016 to 2020.
IEMELIF is one of the member churches of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP). NCCP is a partner church organization of the Philippine Bible Society; together with PCEC, CBCP-ECBA, PJM, and other Independent Churches.
