God’s Unfailing Love Takes Our Breath Away

The thought of my pain, my homelessness, is bitter poison.
I think of it constantly, and my spirit is depressed.
Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:
The LORD’s unfailing love and mercy still continue,
Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.
The LORD is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.

O God, you are my God,
and I long for you.
My whole being desires you;
like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land,
my soul is thirsty for you.
Let me see you in the sanctuary;
let me see how mighty and glorious you are.

I will give you thanks as long as I live;
I will raise my hands to you in prayer.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your precious and unfailing love for me. Please help me remain hopeful in You and Your mercies that are fresh as the morning and sure as the sunrise. You are all I have and You are all I will ever need.
