“My faith grew and I became more understanding of others.”
This was how 22-year-old Sarah Jane Latagan described how the Bible changed her life after she began to regularly read it.
Sarah Jane, who is a teacher-catechist at the Immaculada Concepcion Parish Parochial School, admitted that she really did not read the Bible before. “But all that has changed now. God’s Word also changed how I viewed life, shifting from world-centered to God-filled,” she shared.
She added that despite the challenges she faces daily the Bible gives her hope and inspiration. “Philippians 4:13 always reminds me that I can overcome challenges because the Lord is the one who gives me strength,” Sarah Jane said.
